Our dear School was founded in an area inside Guatemala City.
Is a place in which people suffers many necessities: illiteracy, unemployment, social isolation, low expectations, etc., many are unmarried women, children living with their grandfathers or uncles, many of them growing under infantile maltreatment and sexual abuse.

Their houses are built with common materials, without the basic safety norms. During the summer they suffer from the heat and during the winter they suffer from the cold. This neighborhood doesn't count with drainages and the services of water and electrical energy are deficient.

For all this things and many more we are working hard to give this children a new opportunity in their lives and we know that through The Education they will be able to get more opportunities in this challenging world. Right now they are the HOPE of an important improvement of the state of their families.

We are giving free education to a group of 200 children all of them living under difficult situations.

Year by year the education necessity increases, thanks God and all the support of our volunteers we have been able to growing in one grade each year, completing now an important period of the education in Guatemala called “La primaria” (from kinder to the 6th grade)

Our goal for the 2009 is not only these grades but also the second period (from the 7th to the 9th grades)
